Vietnam’s manufacturing sector continues to expand, driven by a shift toward automation and operational efficiency. According to the General Statistics Office, the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) rose by 10.8% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, with the manufacturing and processing sector alone recording an 11.4% increase. Amid rising production volumes and automation levels, FMCG factories must continuously upgrade their production lines, enhance product transfer capabilities between stages, and synchronize electrical and control systems to meet the demand for greater production flexibility.

Challenge

Adding a new transfer line to an operational production line requires seamless integration of the new system with existing equipment and control systems. In particular, product transfer between mixers, storage tanks, and hoppers must adhere to precise operational sequences, while equipment relocation and electrical installation must be carefully coordinated to minimize disruption to the plant’s production activities.

Tan Tien’s Solution

For this implementation project, Tan Tien is executing the power, control, and programming work for the pumping, transfer line, and hopper systems at the Unilever factory. The scope of work encompasses everything from installation and programming to commissioning, acceptance testing, and system handover.

The scope of work includes:

  • Supply and installation of power and control electrical systems for production lines.
  • Programming and integrating control systems for product transfer stages.
  • Carry out the modification, relocation, and connection of equipment as required for the expansion of the production line.
  • Update technical documentation to support system operation and management.
  • System trial run, acceptance, and handover.

Benefits of implementation

  • Finalize the connections between production stages and facilitate the transfer of products from the mixer to storage tanks and hoppers in accordance with the new line configuration.
  • Synchronize electrical and control systems, enabling the integration of new equipment with existing production infrastructure.
  • Support the expansion and adjustment of production lines, meeting requirements for adding transfer lines and relocating equipment during production improvement processes.
  • Đảm bảo hệ thống sẵn sàng trước khi vận hành, thông qua quá trình lập trình, chạy thử, nghiệm thu và bàn giao.
  • Finalize the system’s technical documentation and support post-deployment management, operation, and maintenance.

Through this project, Tan Tien continues to leverage its capabilities in executing Electrical, Control & Automation scopes for the FMCG sector—spanning design, installation, and programming to system integration, commissioning, and final acceptance. Its experience in working with existing production lines serves as a solid foundation for meeting system upgrade and expansion requirements within industrial manufacturing environments.
